Acro 737 MAX 8

Acro Airways Boeing 737 MAX 8

2x CFM LEAP-1B engines

Configured 33Y+, 147Y

In late 2014, Acro Airways was desperately searching for a next-generation narrow body aircraft. While many expected Airbus to win the order with ease, in April 2015, Acro Airways shocked the world by ordering 250 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft with 122 options. The aircraft would begin delivery in late 2017, and continue through the mid-2020s. At least 120 MAX 8 aircraft have been confirmed, while the other 130 aircraft variants have not been announced.

While Acro was planning for their fleet to become all-Airbus, Boeing offered prices that Acro could not refuse. Many also believe that Airbus was overly-confident in winning the order, and did not offer competitive pricing. The first MAX 8 aircraft for Acro will be delivered in mid-November 2017.

Along with the Airbus A320 family, the Acro 737 MAX family will feature mood lighting, power ports at every seat, and Economy Extra seating. A new addition will be the Boeing Sky Interior and Space Bins, which will improve customer experience, fit more carryon bags, and make the cabin feel brighter and more open. In addition, adjustable tablet holders will be installed on the back of every seat, allowing customers to use their devices with the all-new Acro In-Flight Theater. This streaming service will be free to all customers, and will feature hundreds of hours of content.

OMG beautiful... This brand just keeps getting better

     Nice!

I've got a feeling that the story is made up because the livery looks so much better on a 737 MAX.
