Northern Pacific Airlines | Boeing 767-300 2003-2012 livery

Northern Pacific Airlines | Boeing 767-300 2003-2012 livery

The 2000s developed to be a trip of modernization for Northern Pacific. Every aicraft of the fleet got a new cabin, designs were modernized and old aicraft retired. Northern Pacific also tried to fill new markets that were unexplored by the airline before. Russia was one big example. The airline flew to Moscow already but only for a limited amount of time. Also new routes to south Asia and Oceania were established.
In the Domestic market the airline was at its maximum. The Boeing 767-300 did a very good job of covering major routes in the US for NP because it offered a lot of space but also was very economic. It did a job which before the 767 only one aircraft did which was the DC-10-10 series which was retired in the late 90s. Northern Pacific surpringsingly kept their fleet of 757s as opposed to retiring it like many airlines did at that time. They thought of it as an unreplacebale aircraft which could fill niches no other aicraft could fill.

A big surprise was the early interest of Northern Pacific in the 747-8i. Several American airlines already thought about retiring their 747s as Northern Pacific ordered their first ones. The 747 always ment a lot for Northern Pacific and NP operated all series of them.

    Thanks ^_^

I feel like this one's got a few clashing elements. I like the "swoosh" on the winglet though, I wish you used it on more of the aircraft!
