- Album Bohemian Airways
The struggle of the 90s finally ended for Bohemian Airways. Bohemian managed to get regular passengers from around the globe. Their regular passengers came from europe because the airline just wasn't big enough in the worldwide market to be considered a major airline. Despite the little awareness of Bohemian in other parts of the world the airline expaned their long haul routes. More 767s and 777s were ordered and it turned out to be a good choice. Passengers were quite happy with the airline. Few delayed flights and great passenger service made the airline a good choice especially for eastern europe routes.
In the mid 2000s things looked pretty good for the airline. The fleet was stable and the passenger counts were rising if slowly. Bohemian looked at new regions to expand. So Bohemian decided to order Atr 72s and Atr 42s to expand into the regional service. Bohemian now could fill routes which they couldn't have filled with 737 before. The airline was also very interested when Boeing announced the 787 Dreamliner which they promptley made an order on. It looked like a good replacement for the good but yet old 767s. The airline was very dissapointed that the Dreamliner was delayed and got their first Dreamliner in 2012. Still in the same year the 767 was retired with a big operating history behind it.
While being operated the 767 made flights to asia and eastern parts of america. The aircraft never had big issues and was highly liked by the airline.
