Bohemian Airways started operating life as České Dýchací Cesty or ČDC for short. Operations started in Prague in 1925 in a time where civil aviation was completely new in the newly established Czechoslovakian State.
Relatively early the airline decided to fly american aircrafts and so it came that multiple DC-2's and DC-3's were operated in the airline. The rising soviet influence on the Czechosloakian state after World war 2 brought the airline to start operating more and more soviet aircraft beginning with the IL-12. Later on the IL-14 and IL-18 followed. Eventually the airline got their first jet aircraft, the Tupolev Tu-104. Although small in size and only capable of short routes it proved effective. The Tu-104 was later replaced by its sucessors, the Tu-124 and Tu-134.
Note: the template is made by me and it is still in *work in progress* state and will probably be updated at some point.
