Hellenic National CV-880

The Convair 880, Hellenic's first jet was quickly put to operate in the busiest routes, such as Athens - Paris, in 1963. These modern aircraft could easily carry 105 people in an all coach configuration, a step up from the HS-748. The airline was satisfied with the airliner and ordered 3 more the following year, while the HS-748 was transferred to domestic routes or routes with lower demand. A livery was applied only to the jets with no metal accents to give it a sleek, fast and modern look.
