"Vietnam Airlines Islander I620"
Vietnam Airlines will be utilizing its Islander I620s for its intra-Asia routes 5 hours or less. The
aircraft is configured to seat 180 in economy and 20 in business class for a total of 200. This
configuration demonstrates that the I620 maximizes the 4-cabin crew limit for 2-class layout,
while at the same time, maximizing the 5-cabin crew limit for the 250-seat high density layout.
This makes the I620 ideal for both low-cost and full-service carriers. The I620's revolutionary
folding wingtips make the I620 fit into gates typically designed for the A320 and 737. This
is ideal for increasing seat capacity in very congested airports especially in Southeast Asia.
