TVE Spanish Airlines Airbus A350-900 | EC-TYA

Transporte Volar España's top management requested a brand change in the mid-2000s, however as finances fell during the Financial Crisis of 2007-2008 and the resulting recession hit the airline hard, the airline switched its focus. As the Spanish economy hit rock-bottom in 2012 and began to grow slowly, TVE's new brand was released in the beginning of 2013 as a new beginning for the airline. The airline rolled out its revised brand starting in February of that year, rebranding itself as "TVE Spanish Airlines" and releasing the livery on its Airbus A330-300 aircraft, before being rolled out to the remainder of the fleet. The Airbus A350-900 fleet was the first to be delivered completely with the new livery, arriving in June of 2015, in time for the high tourism season, and entered service on the Madrid - Buenos Aires route on June 29th, 2015. EC-TYA was the first of 23 to be delivered, retiring the oldest Airbus A330-300 aircraft and the entire Airbus A340-300 fleet.

EC-TYA is configured with 40 Premier Class seats and 261 Economy Class seats.
