AviaUkraine - Ilyushin Il-96-300

Airline: AviaUkraine
Aircraft: Ilyushin Il-96-300
Livery: 1992-2002
Aircraft delivery date: 1 October 1992

Founded in 1992 from the remnants of Ukraine's former Soviet airline division, AviaUkraine is the flag carrier and largest airline of Ukraine. From its hub in Kyiv, it serves over 80 destinations across Europe, Asia, North America, and the Middle East. AviaUkraine inherited 6 Il-96 aircraft from the dissolution of the Soviet airline, which were used on flights to China, Bangkok, Dubai, and New York City. The Il-96 was retired in 2002 following the introduction Boeing 767-300ER.

This livery is heavily based on that of its Soviet predecessor, although slightly modified and recolored with the colors of the Ukrainian flag. This livery was used from the airlines' founding until 2002, when the airline underwent a major rebranding.
