042 - Éire International Airways, Aviation Traders Carvair

Éire International Airways operated a handful of Carvairs on flights to Britain and to the continent in the 1960s, after the Bristol Freighter was deemed too small.

Éire's Carvairs, a DC-4 derivative, flew under the Éire International Air Ferries brand. Due to their flexible layout, they could carry between 2 and 5 cars, and up to 55 passengers.
