NC545TX-Douglas DC-7C Superliner. "Spirit of Midland"
Used by AirTexas until 1986. Replaced by B737-200ADV and B737-300s. 545TX was purchased used from AirNG in 1960
and was used for interstate flights as well as regional flights for 26 years. 545TX was scrapped for parts in December 1986(R1). This
paint style reflects the simplistic style of the late 50s. The DC-7 featured 8 Business Class seats and 81 Economy seats. This particular
aircraft was the 5th aircraft of the AirTexas fleet.
