Guardian tried strong to support the 707 and Boeing. They showed off the 707 in many ads and in some ways it was the main aircraft for the first years of its operations for Guardian. Although Guardian tried to get good
connections with Boeing, Guardian never really disconnected from Douglas. The DC-6 and 7 were good planes and Guardian was awaiting new Douglas planes that they could use.
