Boeing 707 320B Guardian Airlines

Boeing 707 320B Guardian Airlines

By the end of the 50s Guardian saw themselves confronted with the beginning of the jet age. Companies like Douglas, Boeing started to produce the first jetliners for commercial use and Guardian knew that they had to jump on the train. At first Guardian thought about the 707-120 but after a lot of thought they waited a year longer to get the 707-320. It had more capacity and bigger range. With the introduction of the 707 Guardian also decided to make a new livery that would stay on Guardian airplanes for one decade. Guardian now was able to reach more destinations. They called it the ''comfort jet'' and it carried the 50s spirit far into the 60s. Guardian loved the 50s culture and that was definetley noticable on any 707. Berths and lounges were standard on every 707. The 707 stayed in service for Guardian far into the 70s until they were sold. The first ever 707 that guardian operated was donated to a aviation museum.

(Iam not sure if something is missing for the livery. I always appreciate suggestions ^_^ )
