From the 1970s to the 2000s, Olympus Airlines was both the flag carrier and largest airline in Greece. From its primary hub in Athens, the airline served over 100 destinations across all inhabited continents except South America. This livery was introduced in 1991 with the introduction of the Boeing 737-400 and Airbus A300R types, and remained the primary livery until the airline's bankruptcy in 2008.

The airline's logo depicts winds over Mount Olympus, the tallest mountain in Greece and namesake for the airline.
