Hawaiian Air A330

Hawaiian Air's new livery introduced in 2012 when it was acquired by competitor BlueHawaii Airways during its financial troubles, Hawaiian Air's exit from bankruptcy introduced a new brand image and new services to destinations throughout the Hawaiian Islands and the Pacific.

It is currently in the process of replacing its 767 fleet with A330s and operates Boeing 717s and Embraer E175s on interisland routes and codeshares with its parent BlueHawaii Airways on many mainland routes.

This particular A330 arrived in 2009 and is named 'Koholalele' meaning flying whale to represent Hawaii's diverse sea life and was christened by then Hawaii governor Linda Lingle in a ceremony at Honolulu Airport. She currently flies the HNL- ORD route while also serving PPT occasionally.
