Pacific Northwest Airlines (Nationair) Douglas DC-8-61

Well, here it is folks, Med's Douglas DC-8.

In the early 1980s, PNA had grown significantly and the pre-existing fleet of 6 Boeing 737-200s and 2 Douglas DC-10-30s were simply not enough for this growing airline, so in the winter of 1985, Pacific Northwest Airlines elected to lease a Douglas DC-8-61 (template is a -63) from Canadian charter company, Nationair. C-GMXQ was delivered to Seattle-Tacoma Airport on the 13th of January 1986, wearing the standard PNA Billboard titles of the time, along with a small nationair logo, to show the aircraft's operator. XQ was used on transcontinental flights, from Seattle to New York, Miami and Toronto with a Nationair flight crew and a mixture of Nationair and PNA cabin crew. On the 12th of May 1988, approximately two years after entering PNA service, the aircraft was returned to Nationair, flying Pacific Northwest Flight 55 to Toronto's Lester B. Pearson Airport, before being reintegrated into the Nationair Fleet.
Unfortunately, like many Nationair aircraft, XQ was overworked and often improperly maintained and, as a result, whilst operated for Nigeria Airways, C-GMXQ, operating as Nigeria Airways Flight 2120, experienced a cabin fire shortly after takeoff from Jeddah, resulting in the loss of all 247 Passengers and 14 crew members. As a result of Flight 2120, and numerous other issues within Nationair, the airline ceased operation in 1993.

Thanks to Med for allowing me to use his Douglas DC-8 Super 60 template, in an unfinished state (I was insistent)
