Great Plains Express Embraer E190

Great Plains Express E190 Livery

Great Plains Express, formally known as Midwest Airlines, is a domestic airline based in General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee. Even tough Midwest Airlines merged with Frontier Airlines in November 2010, Midwest Airlines’ Embraer 190s where never fully retired. Bryan Bedford, who was the President and CEO at the time that Midwest Airlines merged with Frontier Airlines, still had a vision for a great airline. Utilizing Midwest Airlines’ previous E190s, Bryan Bedford founded Great Plains Express with all new branding and a revitalized cabin layout. Great Plains Express operates flights from and to the Midwestern region of the United States. Additionally, Great Plains Express’ fleet consists of E190s, A318s, and a couple of A321s.
