"Cardinal Air Lines Heritage Fleet"


Cardinal Air Lines has its origins as Hopkins Air Lines in Cleveland in an effort for the city to transform
itself into an aviation gateway for North America. The airline officially started flying passengers under
its current name in 1929 with a small fleet of 5 Lockheed Vega's. In 2014 it celebrated its 85th year
of continued service. The airline released a series of special liveries that featured its previous liveries
as well as the liveries of the last two major merger airlines.
