Nihon Airlines Boeing 777-300ER | JA890N

Nihon's first 777-300ER aircraft arrived in 2006, complementing and replacing the 747-400s that made up the majority of Nihon's long-haul fleet prior to this time. The fleet is currently 28 strong, with another 5 on order. This was the fourth 777 variant to enter service with Nihon, as Nihon introduced the 777-200 in 1995, the -200ER in 1999 and the -300 in 2004. Nihon's -300ER fleet shows up all over the world on a daily basis, operating an average of 12,000 flights a year. JA890N was the 26th 777-300ER to be delivered, and is assigned to the Tokyo Narita - Los Angeles - Sao Paulo route, operated in conjunction with Samba Brazilian Airlines. JA890N is configured with 8 Imperial Class suites, 49 Business Class open suites and 233 Economy Class seats.

JA890N also features the "Tomo Dachi" logo; Nihon is a proud sponsor of Tomo Daichi, which is a US-Japanese, public-private partnership that is investing in the next generation of Japanese and American leaders through educational and cultural exchanges as well as leadership programs. Nihon has five aircraft featuring the Tomo Daichi logo, including this 777-300ER, two 777-200ERs, a 787-9 and a 747-8I.
