China Central Airlines Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner | B-8887

China Central Airlines ordered 38 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft as part of a 120-aircraft Boeing order at the Paris Airshow in 2013, with the first arriving in May 2016. These aircraft are intended to replace the older Airbus A330 aircraft, as well as expand China Central Airlines' presence internationally. B-8887 was the first 787-9 to be delivered, and flew between Shanghai Hongqiao and Beijing as part of its test flights, before being put into service on the Shanghai Pudong - Shenzhen - Johannesburg route.

China Central Airlines 787-9 aircraft are configured with 32 GlobalBusiness seats and 277 Economy Class seats.

Note: Some aircraft may not bear the PRC flag due to rotations to/from Kaohsiung International Airport, Taipei Songshan Airport, or Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.
