Air Netherlands Asia Boeing 747-400 | PH-AND

Air Netherlands Asia Boeing 747-400 | PH-AND

In May of 1993, Air Netherlands Asia was incorporated to begin flights to Taipei, Taiwan without compromising Air Netherlands' traffic rights between the Netherlands and the PRC. Air Netherlands Asia was assigned two 747-400s from the mainline fleet, that operated three times a week between Taipei and Amsterdam via. Bangkok. Over time, the network evolved, with Air Netherlands expanding service from three times a week to daily, extending the route to Manila, and eventually eliminating the stop-over in Bangkok. In 2016, seven aircraft have been painted in the livery, including the original two Boeing 747-400 aircraft, three 777-300ERs and two 777-200ERs. The Air Netherlands Asia livery has been stripped of Dutch symbols, features the characters "荷蘭" on the tail and winglet, and has "Air Netherlands Asia" titles in English and Chinese on the fuselage.

"Manila", or PH-AND is configured with 48 Ambassador Class seats and 328 Economy Class seats.
