Transports Aériens la Réunion (TAR) is the primary airline on the French department of Reunion, offering flights to several neighboring African countries, metropolitan France, India, Thailand, and Australia. Founded in the mid-1970s with a single 737-200, the airline did solely regional flights until the purchase of its first Boeing 777 in 2001. The 777 is the sole long-haul type in the airline's fleet, supplemented by 737NGs and ATRs for regional destinations.
