Vietnamese Airlines, a ... vietnamese airline (duh).
With an ambitious fleet renewal plan including the Dreamliner as a key element, Vietnamese Airlines aims to be a major player in Southeast Asia with new infrastructure coming along at its two main bases, Tân Sơn Nhất Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and Nội Bài Airport in Hanoi.
The logo represents Vietnam's national flower, the delicate lotus.

I like gold better than pink, but that lotus does have an eye catching design.
I actually tried with gold (rather than pink) first, along with a different, more classic serif font, though I discarded the idea later on. What do you think ?

Obviously you would want to differentiate from VN more, and yes the pink lotus here is very lovely.
However the golden lotus has a much deeper and profound meaning to a buddhist country that it just makes sense.
