Birmingham, AL- After managerial meetings today Venture Lines has closed its hub in Santa Fe after struggles with fuel prices and capacity, in addition operations have been closed at Venture's focus city Amarillo, TX.

Management also announced the purchase of 30 used A319 and 10 A320 and the sale of 5 B737-500's.

Operations will resume as normal at the hubs in St. Petersburg, FL (10% of passengers), Birmingham, AL (7% of Passengers), Columbia, SC (56% of passengers), Fresno, CA (41% of passengers), and Toledo, OH (26% of Passengers).

Also, Venture Lines has announced new non-stop service from our new focus city Boston, MA to
-Orange County 2x daily
-Grand Rapids 1x daily
-Oklahoma City 1x daily
-Tampa 1x daily
-New Orleans 2x daily
-Kansas City 1x daily
-St. Louis 3x daily
-Salt Lake City 1x daily
-Boise 1x daily
-Minneapolis/ St. Paul 1x daily
- In addition to connecting service to 22 other destinations through our largest hub in Columbia, SC.
