Here is a thought experiment for everyone to consider. It involves an Airline that takes no obvious security precautions whatsoever.

Would You Fly Liberty Air?

"Full-body scanners, invasive pat-downs, harsh carry-on restrictions—has the Transportation Security Administration gone too far? Critics and defenders of the TSA tend to talk past each other, so I propose a new approach to answering the question. Let us imagine there were a major airline that could opt out of all TSA regulations. Call it “Liberty Air.” Liberty Air openly advertises that it takes zero safety precautions when it comes to screening passengers and baggage. Would you fly on this airline?"

Metal detectors and x-rays.
Not a hassle, quick, and don't invade privacy much.

I wouldn't fly this airline at all.
The TSA searches are neccissary for security.
Every terrorist organisation/white supremacy group/mad people trying to get to cuba will be targeting this airline.

Those who view body scanners are in a seperate room as the person being viewed.
The risk of terrorism would increase, making it too risky for me.

I don't know. Being on a hijacked airliner certainly would spice up life.

Just xray of luggage and body scanning is what I think we need. Maybe full body scans too.
