Have you given them pay cuts or layoffs in the past year? All my other staff are happy but ground crew seem to be fuming but why they are getting $26 compared to the industry average of $14
So why are they so unhappy?
Yes, morale is a factor in on-time performance but cannot fully compensate for overscheduling. An aircraft scheduled for 20 hours a day is insane.I would like to know if morale is a factor in on-time performance. How do I increase that value?

1. Nope I had recently increased pay by $2 and no lay offs increased reserve.
and is 2. aimed at my airline

It's aimed at people who schedule 20 hours a day for every plane, which is virtually everyone in AE. In real life, daily utilization is generally half that figure. With 20 scheduled hours a day, one significant delay can delay every subsequent flight on that aircraft for a couple of days.

did you give them a pay cut lately? or cut the number of employees? whats your backup percent? if you want to raise their morale without raising their pay, then try giving them a decent bonus occasionallyCurrently, my ground crews are paid $30/hr (industry average is $15/hr right now). Yet, they are fuming with rage at the moment. Whereas, the mechanics and operations personnel (also paid at $30/hr) are jumping for joy right now (industry average is $33 and $27 respectively). Does anyone have any theories as to why are ground crews are mad as hell right now despite them being paid twice the industry average?

I'll be working on the morale calculations over the next week or so, so no need to if yours looks nonsensical.
