I know you have planned the "on time performance" factor for January, however you would count it based on the amount of flights you make on that specific plane, I think that you should also count:

standby fleet, maybe airlines could have standby fleet which could improve on time performance
airport density, last summer I was on a trip with a stop in JFK, it took 2 hours to go from gate to runway because there were a lot of planes waiting for takeoff/taxing (same thing happened for arrival because there was not enough gates) so maybe we should have where if an airport is dense then have on time performance affected
fleet age, older planes have more problems thus bigger chance of delaying the flight because of a quick fix needed

Thanks, Tim

and also have it to where the slots in a gate- the more slots- the better chance of having gates be open. like if an airlines builds a terminal

I upped urs for upping mine XD

although it can only be based on how many actual daily flights out of that airport rather than gates/slots- and how often they can be opened

EDIT: I upped the first one too :)

good idea , also mechanical problems should be included, i mean 2% of the flights i take are usually delayed by some plane having mechanical problems.

Airport congestion and aircraft utilization are included in on-time performance.

As of now you cannot control maintenance spending (for better or worse), so at this point there's not much point in adding mechanical delays (which can be offset with standby aircraft anyway).

another thing that could change the flights timings is actual problems with aports like for instance volcanic ash clouds or bomb scares that causes airports to shut down and would cause airlines implications as well

Wouldn't delays' be stressful because you would have to check out your airline every couple hours? And also, if one of your plane's flights gets cancelled or delayed, you should get a message from the admin, I think.

You don't have to do anything about the delays and cancellations. They just happen. :P

With major events like storms and mass cancellations you do get a message as far as I know.
