I think Changi's Terminal 3 looks great. Opened last year and would love to transit through there... though, the other 2 terminals there are good aswell!!

Regarding your second comment, there are no good airports in the US after you have experienced the ones in Asia. Hong Kong's is the best with cushioned benches, overstuffed single chairs, showers, courteous staff, free internet, e-message board, children's play area, tv lounge and lots of high end shops. Plus everything at the airport is CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN!

I would say either Heathrow's terminal 5 or Beijing's new terminal.

Best two I've experienced is LHR T5 and DXB T3; both are two amazing buildings.
If anyone would like to know the worst, without a doubt it has got to be LGW (both terminals!)... what a dump!

I'm with SB - LHR T5 is absolutely fantastic. My partner works out of it, and its got a perfect coffee shop overlooking the north runway for me to sit and wait for her!
LGW is in desperate need of a revamp. LTN too, although I believe that has been rebuilt since my last visit.
Can't say I've ever been to DXB though.

I love that coffee shop at T5 I spent about 3 hours waiting with my family for Staff Travel to either JFK, BOS, ATL, IAH, DFW or PHL. We eventaully jump seated all the way to Boston, good fun and very helpful BA staff. The worse terminal I can think of has to be BWI at the international end, there is only one place to eat and just one shop, it is totally hopeless I think it's only used for BA departures to LHR, USA3000 flights and for Air Canada Jazz, it really is very empty and lack any sort of entertainment, they had make shift tv's that were battered and looked like something you would find in a second hand shop.

You know what, having said I liked LHR T5 and DXB T3, I completely forgot about quaint, little BHX! Well, it's not that little actually, but having not used it in a while (thanks a lot BA for ending all your bloody flights from there!), I forgot how much I liked it. I know I'm biased towards it, as it is my local airport, but it's surprisingly good. The new international pier was completed last year, which is frankly excellent; so spacious and airy, and with the typical BHX turquoise glass windows as featured on the rather stunning connection between T1 and T2, with it's amazing 'chevron' roof, which as it happens, my friend's grandfather designed! I must say, while we think of the major airport's to be the good ones, the 'smaller' ones are usually better, even though I don't exactly class BHX as small. Afterall, BHX has been voted the best airport in Europe each year since 2006 in the 10mil-15mil pax. per year category. Thus, I would retract my earlier statement about LHR and DXB, and instead say that little old BHX is my favourite!

I recently flew into YTZ and wow is that terminal ever easy to use! There is almost no possibility of getting lost in that terminal; its also very nice too!

While I love Singapore's Changi T3, I also like Kuala Lumpur's international terminal. Call be biased, but I do enjoy it because it is relatively quiet most of the time and has a jungle boardwalk for transit pax

You know, I think I agree regarding smaller airports. Mine is probably LCY. Turnaround times and ease of access make it very passenger friendly, although a little cramped. 15 minute check in anyone?

15 minutes?! Including security (London security standards!)? Walking to the gate before they close it? Is it possible!!?

Check in closes 15 minutes before departure for passengers with hand luggage only, 30 with checked luggage. That includes the JFK flight too.
Security is extremely quick and efficient, without letting standards slip. Next to no queues at all. It seems that the terminal (and the scheduling) is just well-designed to allow smooth flow through it without bottlenecks.
Its a tiny airport though. The apron is small - aircraft park nose out so the service vehicles don't block the taxiway!
When I arrived back from DUB into LCY, I was out of the airport and on the DLR 5-10 minutes after disembarkation. Its great!
