How on earth could hub creation add up to 40 MILLION?

This needs fixing asap otherwise other people are going to fall into the trap and because your are allowed to go into debt when paying for your hub some people could ruin their airline with it.

I just paid over $600 Million to hub JFK. Then I noticed the cost.
Well seeing as the 18 month limit is up now and you can hub anywhere I guess you wont be the only one.
I always look before buying anything especially as code is changed while the game is being run. :eureka:

Hub pricing is corrected now, tomorrow I will check the financial logs for already payed hub-openings and will correct the cash amount of the user. So stay tuned.

...although I paid it under the assumption that it was somewhat demand-driven, i.e. when an airport is at a premium and gate space (supply is limited), price goes up. Perhaps, then, this isn't a bug...?

Count me in as one of the impacted...

You are correct, that is how it works now. Instead of a flat fee for certain airports it is a demand driven fee.
Having said that the data was incorrect for hubs , 700 million just to hub a few gates is too much This has now been fixed.

Yesterday I ordered 2x Tu204s and 2x 747-400s.
I received the 747s but not the Tu204s.
Today I have had to sell my 747s but I have only received reimbursement for 1.
By my calculations I am $70million short on the Tu204s and $188million short on the Boeing.

I am not sure how it lays out the expense sheet for you, but I only have one hub so if you see any entry indicating building a hub, that would be the one.
I wish I could be of more help.

Im in Western Australia. My game came back on over 24hrs ago but I am having several problems.
Is the game still down and I should leave it a while longer?
Or is it running but there are small problems that you should know about?
Regards Terry.

It is up and running but you probably notice that when you create a route it will show zero percent on the routes page. I am noticing that some routes after about 0 to 15 minutes update to normal load factor and profits. This was already discussed in previous forums. Have you tried using http://ae.simulationcloud.net ?
