Hello,

I am a bit confused as their is a Saab 2000 but no Saab 340, or their is a J-31 and no J-41 or ATP and their is a Beech 1900D and no C. I think it would be a great idea to have some of the older MD-80/90 and DC-9 planes for sale new also. Are their any plans to do so? I think this would be a great idea.

Thanks,
Spenser, AirCruise

When Miller invented AE 1946 and added a vast array of aircraft suited to the era that the game was in was one improvement the players love, in sim2 it would be nice for a data collection person to gather a list for the developers much like Millers 1946 model and on the next reset of sim2, this be added.

That is my thoughts

Older types of planes are added already to the game by the used market.

New "Older" planes would not be that much good in this game because they are not very economical.

I understand they are added to the used market, but it is very uncommon to catch the one you want...

Older planes are annoying as some players just purchased them and massed on some asian routes, but getting back to the Q?

I tried to look for the list that David added on used market for older planes to add this to the beginners guide list of aircraft but cant locate it.

On the second part of the reply, would it not be economical if the correct aircraft data was slotted? as in the past when Miller added new aircraft, some performed well others not, there must be a reason why?

Well, the idea is simple. Aircraft that are made currently are the ones that are available new from the manufacturer in AE. Every other model possible "would" be made available for a leasing type function in the game... which has yet to today been made or seen. :)

When the game was created it was being made. It is not meant that the simulation be kept current with all aircraft currently being made and used worldwide, that would be far too much work.

Planes are added when possible and when there is time and when the correct information has been supplied.

I can mention hundreds of planes that should be in the sim but other things have priority at the moment.

hi,
aren't there different models of the a380 and b787? then shouldn't there be options of that too?

also, isn't the a350 xwb also commercially available now?

not entirely true, its all about how they are used... take allegiant air. they made the most money out of all US airlines, but yet they operate solely on MD-80's...

but in the game something needs to be done to the aircraft because last round, i bought a MD-81, but couldnt make any money with them on routes that should have... i tried the same with a 737-400 and it didnt either...

Which is is exactly what I said "In this game"

You may also see Travelhouses comments made earlier, and I quote

Feel free to pass on the correct aircraft data to Yuxi or Elchie and I am sure they will merge this into the game when they have time.

The point is and what I have tried to make already is that they only have so much time on their hands and there are other more pressing priorities than adding more and more aircraft although Yuxi did add some Russian aircraft before the last reset.

I live by Roanoke, Virginia. We used to have Saab flights from Detroit with Northwest, but not anymore. I am still hoping an airline like AirTran or Southwest will fly here.
