What are other people's thoughts on the 787-8? I thought they were supposed to be so fuel efficient. My 787's aren't making as much as I think they should be, compared with my Embraer's. Even compared with planes like the A310, they aren't really any better, and the A310's are OLD. I love the amount of range the have, but where's their efficiency?

For some reason, they're pretty terrible. I can't figure out why, considering the supposed operation cost.

I think it's because their capacity is too low, so even though you have lower operating costs, the revenue isn't that great either. But looks like some players have found a way to put them to good use by dumping several of them on certain routes :x

Do market research with them and compare them of different routes. It's not that accurate, but its good for comparing... i found the 787 to be slightly better than the boeing 757

787s do make money. From my experience, you need to use them from a strong hub to really see the profits that came with owning such a fleet.
Obviously, it really comes down to which routes you fly.
And btw, they are as good to operate as the Boeing 757-300s.
