Hmm the server load is extremely high right now, but I have no idea what's going on. No code was changed recently, so let's wait a while and see what happens.

This is too slow, thus I just placed all my fleet onto used market.
Like the idea of aircraft Crashing, but as the system has to recaculate routes due to a crashed aircraft, this will slow up the game too much, one seems to think this is the problem with server being slow.

Aircraft crashing is not a real feature. It just displays that because it's April Fools Day
I wouldn't make such a huge change without announcing anything. You can still schedule the "crashed" aircraft as usual, the aircraft display will go back to normal tomorrow.

I (Fly Dixie) am the other source of the glut of used planes out there. I think we've reached saturation, and I just found myself having less fun lately, so I cashed it in. Enjoy the planes, everyone!
Contrary to what a lot of you think, I think that while the LF could use some tweaking, it isn't that bad. Some routes aren't profitable unless you fly from a hub city, but that's how real life is. Some routes aren't profitable unless you fly a Beech 1900 from a major hub to the small city, but that's how real life is. In real life you might not notice that, because those little towns are served by feeders, not major carriers. I was able to get profit from pretty much every route (once it was just $1!), even those where the outboard spoke was a city with a gate cost of as little as $10,000. I didn't go below $10K, I did discover those were too tough to get a green number.
So, to the people working on the game these days, *great job* on the improvements. I might take a round off, but I look forward to playing again in the future, and I know the game will be even better.

I'm finding plenty of available routes. I generally don't start to expand really until the 5th AE year. I think rounds should go until at least the end of year 10. Some rounds I remember back in the old days of sim 1 went 18 years.
