The runway length for DCA is listed as 6,869. The required runway for the B737-800 is listed as no less than 7,060, and for the 757-200, it's listed as a minimum of 7,050. I watch 738s and 752s fly out of DCA every day.

Here's one:

Flight: AA 1009 (American Airlines)
Depart: Washington Ronald Reagan National Apt 5 Dec 06:00
Arrive: Dallas/Fort Worth Intl Apt 5 Dec 08:35
Aircraft: 738 Stops: Non-Stop
Click here for details Travel Time: 3hrs 35mins

and another:

Flight: DL 343 (Delta Air Lines)
Depart: Washington Ronald Reagan National Apt 5 Dec 07:00
Arrive: Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Intl Apt 5 Dec 09:00
Aircraft: 757 Stops: Non-Stop
Click here for details Travel Time: 2hrs

WMAA's website does agree, the longest runway is 6,869 feet, so the minimum needed for both aircraft must be wrong (maybe we're using length needed for maximum takeoff weight?)

Just moved this to the bugs section where it will be viewed and looked into.

The game uses MTOW, neither of your examples would be at MTOW... I don't know how hard it would be to allow you to limit weight on flights (by restricting fuel load or pax numbers) in the game but would be helpful as real airlines do this every day to max out range or take off on shorter runways.

Just see this link for the right specification of a B757:

Just see this link for the right specification of a B737/8:

As you can see in the paragraph 3.3.1 a 757/200 the runway is not only depending on cargo but also on day temperature. As I am working on the airport Amsterdam it is quite easy for me to find this information. This info is coming from boeing selve.
For the 737/800 see paragraph 3.3.81

If we take the MTOW and a perfect temp outside then a 737-800 needs a runway of 6000 feet in perfect conditions.

The game just doesn't have any way to account for variables like air temp, altitude, pax count, cargo weight, fuel load, etc...

I have a feeling that's getting pretty complex, so MTOW was probably the easiest thing to code.

In general it's possible to use factors like pax limit for flights to get a runway matching - but for this we have to touch the LF-script *sigh*

So right know its a no-go, sorry for that.
