However, the CRJ-705 is the CRJ-900 with a 2 class config, mainly business class and economy. Also another way to get around the union restrictions in the USA mainly of regional airlines flying these aircraft, by reducing capacity, but offering a 2-class service.
Hope that helps

What's the stance on business class seats e.t.c.... Are adjustable configurations in the pipeline does anyone know?
Good idea, the way I see this being implemented is that the aircraft is standard in the manufacturer page , say A333 at 340 seats. You would then have a combo-box to select a different seating arrangement. this would then give you the configuration you wanted and you would order it.....
I would say this is possible after many months

I have this scheduled to be an added inclusion in the new game, not within sim2, and funny enough I was looking at giving players the choice of accomadating PAX plus Cargo on some long haul flights.Good idea, the way I see this being implemented is that the aircraft is standard in the manufacturer page , say A333 at 340 seats. I would say this is possible after many months
(Example)
A330-300 with 340 seats, you can click to make PAX of 200 with balance in tonnage in Cargo, thus giving you a mixed return in DOP.
(Thats enough of spilling beans for now)

1. At first, just allow airlines to have different configurations, so say 20C/140Y in an A320 for example, which could increase revenue depending on the flights and how strong the hub is.
2. In the longer term, has options to choose which seats you want, food menus, ptv's, etc so to provide even a more unique feature to airline.
Cargo would be tricky, since we would need to know the volume aircraft can carry depending on the seating arrangements, auxiliary tanks, etc... but even small routes should make money.
That way, we could have a mixture in AE of low-cost airlines (with a standard config and paying for all extra) or go to the other end and be a SQ/Emirates of the real world.
Oh the possibilities are endless as the say

Can someone please tell me how 340 passengers can fit on the A330-300? I've looked and looked and all I've found on info sites is around 285 in three class, just like the A340-300. Is the A330's seating capacity all one or two class?
I believe it's all one not sure though......

Flightcrew of two. Passenger seating arrangements for 295 in three classes or 335 in two class (30 premium class at 2+3+2 and 305 economy at 2+4+2). Max passengers in high density configuration 440. Front and rear underbelly cargo holds can take 32 LD3 containers or 11 pallets.
That is taken from the following webpage:

I gotta say, be glad that mass capacity configs are normally attributed to charter airlines... i would NOT be seen in a sardine can, that is for sure

This would be a really complex game if it afforded that level of detail, but it's definitely a good idea. I think allowing
1. Different configurations and
2. A choice of three levels of service such as Premium/Standard/Economy
would give the player enough options to let them determine whether they're going to be CX, Ryanair, or something in between.

Actually there has been "confirmed" rumors of some thing like this in the works , so it's coming many be not soon, but it will be there along with cargo options. Or so we hear...This would be a really complex game if it afforded that level of detail, but it's definitely a good idea. I think allowing

My idea, yes, is complex, but i wasnt asking for it to appear in the next 3 months. Perhaps a good year to get accurate information and certain details to provide various options and to test.
