my airline based at SEL.
today. i found what my profit been half.
reason was Liberty National Airlines and Hanhee Airlines
They fixing price like a terrorist.
SEL-LHR, my price was 1500 with load factor 100% (747-200B)
but, Liberty National Airlines fixing price 919$.
inevitably I fixing 918$. my profit changed from 400,000 to 150,000$
SEL-CGK, my price was 800$ with load factor 80% (747-200B)
but Hanhee Airlines fixing price at 500 and Liberty National Airlines fixing price 499$
inevitably I fixing 499$, my profit changed form 320,000 to 98,000$
I can understand they want to earn more $ and go up ranking. but I think must not act like a terrorist.
P.S I'm korean so poor in english. I hesitated to write this article. but I wrote this article because very very angry.

honestly, sounds like to me u had no competition on some routes and now u are trying to deem this as an excuse. With competition, comes lower prices and lower profits. Sim1, u need a strong hub to compensate for this and it can happen.
I say just keep playing along and keep improving those routes.

Terrorist? That's a bit extreme..

It's what this game (and indeed being in business) is all about. Michael O'Leary and Ryanair aren't in the Korean market yet. They would come in at £1.00 a ticket and steal the market :sniff:

Seems that someone has no knowledge of how the airline industry or even general business for that matter works. Its just competition and nothing more than that... terrorism is something entirely different, perhaps you should spend a few minutes and google the term before throwing it around like that.

Actually, they would create new demand from lower middle class and lower class that would now be able to afford to fly to places.
But that is not the point. The point is, from what i gather, its just he was all by himself on these routes and doesnt appreciate that the competition is not going to sit on their chairs and just let him make money. Sometimes, u gotta earn it..

Anyway he it's understandable, it often feels like one is being targeted because larger competition expands moving into your region, destroying your profits, but it's all part of the game and yes it often does feel rude.

Well this is an Airline game and the point is to run one another of routes. The Airline business isn't letting people go onto your route and still getting profit. It's about staying strong and fighting the other Airlines back:)I am playing in sim1.

Very true, but at the end of the day, its a game, not a real life dilemma
