This is what I received:
Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to mail.authsmtp.com:25 (Connection refused) in /home/airlinee/public_html/sim2/class.smtp.php on line 122
There was a problem with the email server and the message was not sent. Try using the lost password function which uses a different email server.
So, what do I do?
Thanks.

There was a problem with the email server and the message was not sent. Try using the lost password function which uses a different email server.
Go to the login page, and click "Lost Password" or something like that, and enter the email and username you tried to register.
It should then be emailed to you, if you entered the email address correctly.
-Advance.

Thanks for your help. It said: "The email address, [email removed], was not found in the database." I know that's the e-mail I entered. Hmmm . . .

How unfortunate.. hopefully somebody more experienced comes along shortly.
Sorry your experience had to start this way - but once you're in, everything is in perfect working order, I assure you.

Actually, my whole experience registering here has been . . . um, "eventful." I had to try several times in Sim 1 to finally get on. Now, trying on Sim 2 . . . arrrggh!
So, it said no such e-mail exists. So, I tried a new log-in name with that e-mail address, and it said: "E-mail address is already in use. If you have forgotten your password, Click Here To have it mailed to you."
I thought you said that e-mail is not on file!!! :frustrated:

I tried the forgot password link again. Here's what I got:
[email removed].
Warning: include(index.html) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/airlinee/public_html/sim2/mail.php on line 18
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'index.html' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/airlinee/public_html/sim2/mail.php on line 18
My head is spinning. This is crazy!

Yikes! I really do feel so sorry for you, considering you're new, haha.

Thank you very much.
I tried logging in again. It said something about needing the verification code from my e-mail. If I needed it resent to "click here." When I "click here", it takes me back to the home page! :sdrool:

I finally got an e-mail sent to me, but all it contained was: "http://"
EDIT: I think maybe hotmail wiped out the link. Not sure. At any rate, now when I try to get the log-in page to resend the e-mail, I don't get one.

I got the same error, however I was able to get a new password. The sad thing it give me this
"Please check your email for your verification code. If you need the code resent, pleaseClick Here."
when I try yo log in.:puzzled:
Still can't get on. First time I've had this issue in the 2 years I've played, just never register here.
Thanks for any help.

ya, looks like the original verification server for the mail is either down, or changed. My buddy cant seem to get in either.

I had to e-mail support to get it straightened out. Afterward, I was able to log-in just fine.
