Sigh... I guess now we'll get to see how long it takes for that to be copied as well.

I'd like to integrate that map into more and more of the site. It really brings out the visualization of an airline's success or failure and adds a lot to the game.

Part of the evolution process i guess. But no doubt, if they gotta copy AE, really makes u wonder if they actually think for themselves then :puzzled:

Yeah I know that doesn't really help
Nice job on the city pages, anyway we can get the routes from the city clickable so we can see the route page?

Miller, the only intellectual property behind this are your calculations. No?

It's because some cities are listed as origins, and some are listed as destinations. I was unable to group them together based on the calculations being completed at the database level.
SELECT (SELECT sum( *frequency col*) OR count(*some col*) FROM *route table* WHERE (*route_arrive == airport id))+(SELECT sum(*frequency col*) OR count(*some col*) FROM *route table* WHERE (*route_dep == airport_id)) AS `totcount`, `airport name`, `airport code...`, `etc`. FROM *airport table* WHERE EXISTS (SELECT 1 FROM *route table* WHERE *route_arrive* = $city OR *route_depart* = $city) ORDER BY `totcount` DESC, *secondary orderby; airport name?*, *tertiary orderby you get the drift*
(whoops. here. let me improve this rough query a moment. there. that should pull every city that flies into or out of $city, along with total frequency or total count of those routes (in+out))
should combine the two, while making it one query with the airport name, etc., and yes you can orderby an alias... you just can't do anything sooner by the alias it seems because mysql is dumb like that.
