question to advance airlines (sim 2)

Care to enlighten us as to how you got enough money to order over 300,000 A380 aircraft in Sim 2, along with all the Boeing 787s?

A bug maybe?

perhaps it is something to do with the gates problem which affected your airline?

Prolly the same way Kaaaiieeemmm, or whatever the hell, does......

It's a known bug that the more Aircraft you buy the cheaper they are.........

Somehow people have figured that if they Spend $6 Trillion on 500,000 Aircraft they're getting a Deal........yeah you're only paying $12,000,000 per Aircraft...but how much money are you Wasting by doing this???....

It's ridiculous and needs to be fixed......and by saying this I guarentee I'm gonna get the Typical Mod response.......because they're apperantly too stupid to figure out a fix, everytime you mention something wrong, such as Glennos destroying the Game and $1 fares, the responce from them is, "why don't you quit bitching and suggest a fix".........

Your logic is somewhat flawed i'm afraid and you are missing the big picture. As mentioned before in other threads I will reiterate my answer. It is financially impossible to legally order 300 000 A380's in one go. This has nothing to do with the discount you are offered for multiple orders. Even with this discount you still need the 50% purchase price when ordering (the discount is excluded from this)

I don't think that is a bug. Its a known thing in the business world that the more of something you order, the bigger the per-unit discount you receive. I don't know how much of a discount applies to aircraft (that information is most likely proprietary), but there is one.

Actually, the discount u get on large orders is capped at a certain number of aircraft. Cant remember the exact figure, but it cant go any lower.

All i ask he comes clean and explains himself. Maybe game issues

I figured the $$ was from old profit build-up or whatever when the 32,000 BRU gates happened.

And so I ordered 5,000 A380's as that's logically what I could afford.

Re-sorted everything, found out I could order another 5,000, and did.

But 300,000!? :puzzled:

As KaaiElEm said, that's financially impossible!

I'm looking into cancelling a LOT of those right now, before I end up another $30bil in debt. Or more even.

Whoa, man. Calm down. In Sim 2, all orders seem to be fulfilled at the beginning of the month, even if delivery is scheduled for 20 years out.

Well you could have told me THAT before I began flaming you! Now I realise flaming the person who's name begins with G (Is that 1/7th of a point for using the first letter of his name) massively reduced my chances of winning the game =(.

Another reason to consider capping the number of posts each person can make in a day. It is one thing if you are contributing to the forums, and another if you are just posting to add to your post count.
