Well, I tried forever to keep AE supported totally by ads, but the truth is, it never really was. That said, I've hung my head in defeat and added a donation button.

Here's the deal, as you'll read on the main page:
This server is expensive, and with our first child on the way I'm having a hard time justifying the cost of development to the wife. So, for the first time I'm asking you for help. If you enjoy the game and are interested in donating, please do. Whatever you think it's worth. But if you're short on cash, or just don't feel like it...well...we'll still let you play . There's no benefit in the game for contributing, and likewise there's no penalty if you don't.

Will AE survive without your donations? Yes.
Will I? Don't know.

Development is going to continue regardless. This is merely a way for you to say thanks, and for me to say "Sorry, Honey."

Dont be ashamed to add anythink, just do it, Yes it cost a packet to run
