When you expand a terminal, do you have to pay the $50,000,000 fee again?

That $50 mil fee is only for the initial terminal. Any add-ons to that terminal, u wont be paying the $50 mil fee.

There is however a $10mil charge added on top of the $5mil/gate when expanding a terminal

(or at least there used to be, I haven't expanded one in a couple rounds now)

Two more questions:

1. Can gates be removed for non-usage if they're in a terminal?
2. Are terminals built right when you click? Or do you have to wait a few months?

Can you de-hub an airport? KaaiElEm used to be in LAS earlier in the game and he had a terminal (I think) and a hub and everything there, and then one day, everything was gone and he moved to ATL. No more hub and he only had 1 LAS gate.

He didn't have a terminal, he had a hub with the gates he got off the market. The only way to remove a hub is to return all the gates you have at that airport.
