Hello everybody.
I have noticed on SIM 2 that there is an airline offering $0 fares using large aircraft (A380). I have also noticed my load factors disappear on these routes. I'm sure other have noticed as well. This is definitely a problem, as $0 fares kill load factors for everyone. My ticket price was $99, the second lowest, and still, 0% load factors. I am wondering why this is allowed. It destroys realism and makes the game a lot less fun. Anyone agree?
Maybe a minimum fare feature can be added. Something to end this.
$0 fares!!!

$0 fares aren't cheating, even real life airlines do it on occasion.

I remember RyanAir doing something similar with 1p airfares?

$0 and $1 fares will continue as long as they are allowed. Most airlines will at least run at $15-$25 ticket prices if they really want to gain the market share. Others may be route wrecking or just desperate. This has been brought up soo many times already.

gotta say i run 1 $0 route too , but that's only in reaction to the new airline ,since flying with an A333 @$15 on a 600NM route cant make any money even if it had a 150%LF

Oh come on get real, the same person complaing about these fares had 3 a333's on a 308nm route, what a joke. I hade one plane on there but lost out to all others flooding the route with multiple aircraft.
So, it's payback time and the 0$ stays , I don't earn anything then no one will, simple as that.
Maybe more 0$ fare coming up , i'll keep ya posted! or if it appeases some people I will make them 15$ even so you wont earn jack on those routes so what's the point of crying about it.

There seems to be far too much of this 'bring all your problems to the forum' business - its really not that hard to talk to people directly in the game, so thats what I do. I've already had a bunch of instances where people have done something thats pissed me off in the game, or in one case, was just flat out needlessly rude, but I didn't feel the need to let the world know about it before at least attempting to get a first-hand explanation.
In this case, the $0 fares were there to discourage someone else who was acting uncompetitively. And all it took to find that out was a quick, friendly message, rather than moaning about it here.
