ok i know of atleast 2 airlines who just quit playing at my hub. Is there a way that if you don't log in within 3 weeks or so that your gates be released? Both airlines were very strong and they have about 20 gates each. I looked at there financial info and it has just dropped for the past 3 "years." Im sure it would help with the over crowded problem we are having. take a look at the last 5 pages of the rankings and see how many airlines have quit still own gates.

yeah, seems to be some issues with the automatic deletion of airlines after 2 weeks of inactivity.
Oh well, i guess people can just mention the airlines and hopefully something is done about it. Of course, u need to sure and some common "features" are:
- High prices on routes (since that airline has never changed or repriced it)
- Constant drops in net profit (need to be over a good 2-3 week period)
- Perhaps same aircraft (thats if u keep checking ur rivals out, which im sure most do)

Well another way to check it is to check the players fuel costs .. when the graphic shows a flat line , u know he hasn't placed new planes for the last days , which is also an indication :eureka:

Yeah, if you notice an airline that is still running the same 5 gates and B19's it started with after a month or so, the owner probably left it alone. Usually at this stage, you can also tell by ticket price. If an airline has ticket prices 200-400 more than everyone else, and they are not operating a major hub, that is usually another sign of an airline that someone has left alone for a while.

I personally think 3 weeks inactivity shouldn't get your airline changed, because they may be on vacation of some kind of problem happens with their computer so it would be unfair on them.

im not worried about the competition, it will free up some of there gates. And yea they might be on vacation or have problems but honestly thats not our problem. Also theres computers everywhere, im sure you can take 2 min and log in if you were that concerned about this game.

How about if people can just delete their airline after a while? Or maybe get a warning email about not playing? Cuz some people may be ignoring a certain hub, or maybe is taking a break but coming back? For example, I have school (not college so I don't have a laptop), so I can't check all the time!

perhaps a vacation mode? which people can enter if they need to so it is know they are away but still want to be active. if not included in the scrip a thread could b set up so any one removing accounts/airlines could check that? just an idea.
