Today Orlando based Sea Air today announced that it will replace its sole klax based atr-72-500 with a e-170 sometime in the near future. They also announced the purchase of another 717 that will be the 6th in their fleet set to arrive in about 11 months. Their other aircraft on order a a320-200 is also on track to arrive in about 13 months, it will be Sea Air's first 'large' aircraft.

Today Sea Air welcomed it first e-170 into the fleet earlier than planned. They replaced the atr-72-500 on all routes. They added lax-den, and closed lax-las, and atl-ord. CEO Tim Moskal had this to say "We would have loved to keep going to lax from las but airlines with bigger aircraft forced us out for now, also it was no longer profitable to go from atlanta to chicago with our b 1900 aircraft. We closed the route until we could get larger aircraft".

Today Sea Air welcomed its first a320-200, and 6th boeing 717 into its fleet earlier than expected. A KMCO-KLAX flight was added and Sea Air closed its KATL-KIAD flight due to low ticket sales.

Today Sea Air announced the end of its hub at Atlanta. Tim Moskal had this to say: " There is just to many airlines in Atlanta, we were not profitable there." Sea Air will move ops. to Orlando International Airport, including most Atlanta destinations. Atlanta will still be serviced from a few Sea Air cities.
Sea Air has almost completed the change from B-1900's to E-170's and Dash-8 Q-400s. It has put 13 of its B-1900 fleet up for sale and the other two will follow once they recieve more Q400s.

Today Sea Air started shifting its route system from a hub and spoke, to serving multable cities from each airport. The switch started with RDU, adding Tampa and Ft. Lauderdale. Sea Air also ended service to Denver, and adopted its slogan:
"Sea Air connecting Florida to the World"

Today Sea Air announced that the final b-1900s has left there fleet. 14 went to other airlines, and one was put in storage to be put on display at Sea Air headquarters in Orlando,FL.

Today Sea Air announced that they will begin phasing out its fleet of Boeing 717-200s Tim Moskal had this to say" They have givin us 7 great years but they just arnt profitable with these rising fuel prices" Of the 6 5 will be sold and one will become a gate guard at Sea Airs Orlando headquarters.
Sea Air also announced that the 1st widebody has joined the fleet, a 767-400 aircraft that flies the companys 1st US-Europe route.

Today Sea Air's last boeing aircraft its 767-400 was replaced with a a330-300 Making Sea Airs mainline an all Airbus fleet. The 767-400 will be put up for sale today. See Air also added flights to its cities, and ordered another A320-200.
