As Miller seems to have came back, I decided to create this topic for us to list the *minor* errors in the game that would presumably be easy to correct and hopefully they (or at least some of them) could be corrected before the next restart. Hopefully this list would make an easy refference. Please add here such mistakes you've encountered.
MISPELLED NAMES:
Frankfort (should be Frankfurt)
Tokyo Haneida (should be Tokyo Haneda)
MISPLACED AIRPORTS:
Kimberley, South Africa (sim2 - severely misplaced)
Niamey, Niger (sim2 - severely misplaced)
Ankara (should be hundreds of kilometers west)
Bergen (should be hundreds of kilometers west; now is in Sweden instead of Norway)
AIRPORTS LISTED AT WRONG CONTINENT:
Abu Dhabi (listed in Africa, should be Middle East)
Bahrain (listed in Europe, should be Middle East)
Algiers (listed in Europe, should be Africa)
Leipzig (sim2; listed in Africa, should be Europe)
Kota Kinabalu (listed in Asia, should be Southeast Asia/Oceania)
Also, there should probably be consistency with cities of Egypt - either Hurghada in the Middle East, or Cairo in Africa. Turkish cities may as well be moved to the Middle East.

We already got a list of errors. If I only could find the link to that thread. Listed all, and I mean really all the errors we could find in sim2. Has someone seen that thread.
The misplaced airports and mispelled names are already known and miller does have a corrected version and will upload after the next reset, according to some other post I don't have a link for either.
Cheers,
Felix

I have noticed something in the new lf script. Most times when I try to enter multiple rotations on one route, the lf really drops and I have to decrease my prices so much that I earn even less with two or three rotations compared to a single one.
It has not always been like that. During the first days after the reset I had multiple rotations on one route, but if I try to do that on the same route again, its just not profitable anymore. And that with the game capacity adjustment, which would actually lead to higher prices on my routes (got a monopoly). Has there been a change in the lf equation during the last days?

Felix

Indeed there is one unrealistic thing in the new script related to that. In some cases not only the percentage of people flying may decrease when you increase the frequncey, but overal *number* as well. For example it may be so that the airplane will be 75% full if there is one flight a day and that it will be 15% full if there will be two flights a day at the same price (that number of people would fill only 30% of aircraft should it fly one time a day). When you increase frequency the overal number of passengers should only increase (due to better choice of departure time) or at least stay the same/almost the same, but definitely not decrease. So for example if the plane was 80% full when flying once a day it should be at least 40% full if it flies twice a day with price unchanged.

:puzzled: The same number of passengers are flying the route on a daily basis. When you increase frequencies or change to a larger aircraft (more seats), you are adding capacity. Unless you lower your ticket prices, you will lose load factor and profits.
For example, say there are 200 passengers per day on a route. You started by putting a D328 on the route and managed 95% capacity. Eventually, you switch the D328 to a Q400. You have added capacity on the route and, even with the same demand, now must lower your ticket prices.

I am sure he understands that! But it is strange that the total demand does not seem to be same one route, when frequencies increase. For example, doubled frequency should actually mean half the lf on the flight with same price and same aircraft. But it drops from lets say 90% on a one-daily to 20% on a twice-daily rotation. That is a bit strange.

Is it the smaller aircraft that makes things go crazy?
