im done, im tired of checking in and finding ive lost 300,000-500,000 in a matter of hours just because of a bug. I wouldnt have a problem if it was because of competition but its because of a stupid problem that is fixable. Im not going to allow myself to be frustrated by a game. Its supposed to be fun.

The bug made another one bite the dust. I really hope miller and TW fix it in V3. Its driving people away like crazy.

Miller and TW are gone...havent heard of them in a long time. I sent Miller a private message about a week ago and he still hasnt responded...When was the last time someone saw him in the forums?

Im sad to break things to you, and to everyone else here to does not think its true but:

There are things out there called lives, see, people who have lives also have certain obligations, like a job or their loved ones. AE is not an "obligation" they must keep up with, but more or less of a hobby. See, people who have Jobs, need to find balance, and if some cant, then they must put things off.

Perhaps one day, you too can seek one of those magical things called a "Life" or hell, a "Job"

Well said. Its common for both Miller and TW to go away for a while and come back for a few updates, one might call it the culture of the game at this stage. I'm sure they will be back again for another update in the future.

Ya whatever a life....everybody here has a life!, its just what you do with it that counts. I still think that if you create a site, you should AT LEAST check it out once a week to see how things are going.......You guys are getting boring with your "they have a life and love ones", we heard it over a thousand times.

Delta Miller is not bound by this site, she can freely come and go as need be, just becuase you lack a life doesn't mean Miller or TW need to as well. Just give it a rest, being a pest and pain won't make them want to come back any sooner.

But lets not forget...they want this to be some sort of business or side income...they were gonna charge for a premium version in V3...if they loose possible customers...I mean come on...

Let me start by saying that my leaving the game is in no way a reflection on the development team. I work in the software development business and I understand that they have lives outside of AE. AE is basically a pretty good product with some minor bugs. The secret to good software development is a fine balance between enhancements, new functionality and maintenance. We see the same arguments here on these forums that I see on a daily basis at work. There are those that say we should stop everything and fix all the bug, and then there are those that think that there are two many bugs and "junk code" and we should just start from scratch. The answer lies somewhere in between. AE Beta is clear evidence of work going on behind the scenes, and just because we as users don't get a daily update from the development team, doesn't mean something isn't going on. Along with the Beta, we've seen some bug fixes and functionality changes with the regular version. All of this is a clear indication that development hasn't forgotten about AE or ran away from it as some on these forums would charge. Again im not upset at the development team here for having a bug, im upset that people exploit that known factor and take the fun out of something and ruin it for personal gratification. I have a hard time understanding how someone who manipulates something that they know is wrong. Games are supposed to be about competition and the personal satisfaction from knowing that if i play hard i can win. Exploitation of a bug is cheating, any person that can gain satisfaction from that is a person i don't care to associate with. Im not quitting permanently, im just stopping play for now. I've learned alot this round. I'll be here for next round. But for now, the thrill is gone. I'll just sit back, wait with eager anticipation and try it again next round when hopefully those unscrupulous people will leave.

the main problem is the number of airports. there isnt enough in the game which is leading to oversaturation

Miller and others do visit the forums more than you all think, just you do not see them.

Delta, if you do not like the way they conduct their game, then go some other site and play another. No one is holding a gun to your head to stay
