Well lets see. There are many Bad Apples who think its a great idea to exploit the LF bug (as well as the bug coming up on random.) People have lives, I love playing AE too, but I got exams as well. I think if they figure out how to fix the bug or at least soften it's impact on Players without ruining the game for us all, then people will come back. Having to reset a route every hour is not exactly my idea of a fun online game. As for the forum, I think that people are just tired of the infux of spambots getting on the forum posting their virus ads for "Special pills."

many things which are to many to list players have lost interest and looks like the makers are not to concerned with the progress of this game also

forum is quite due to many non active players

game is not as interesting due to many factors

alliance members lose interest and leave

lot of new players come and then leave as they see it as not interesting in this mode right now

there would be lucky to no more than 120 active players in the game right now for an on line game with millions of peple who are avation buffs those numbers are an indication that this game is on graveyard status

developers show nil replies in forum to what is progress or developements

want me to list more?

Wings, even a v2.1 with some bug patches would be a significant step in the right direction...

I'm relatively new and I enjoy it, but the known bugs and lengthy development of v3 are getting me a little down about it myself.

TW and Miller have said in the past that the development of V3 is their main goal, however from the looks of this game / players / and exit of former top people will result in: Final (One Day / month or years :) ) Development of a working V3, but there will be only a hand full of players left from V2. They will have to advertise to attract new people to play the game thus this may be their main objective, piss off the junk and start new.

I'm well aware of that, but so far they're proving to no longer be on the laudable side of "we're focusing on v3 only", the question is now becoming. "How long can we ignore v2 before we lose all our playerbase". It's relatively apparent v3 is not coming any time in the near future, as it's already been around 9 months in development. with how widely known and abused the present bugs in v2 is, maybe it's time they took a 2-4 hour span patching up some of the more notorious ones that should be relatively simple fixes, or just the major bugs (like the LF bug), that are driving away players who are waiting for v3 to finish. You'd think they could put the script that checks if gates are available into the actual gate lease formulae preventing negative gates relatively quickly. who knows what else could be patched with 2 hours of attention.

it'd make present players a little happier and more likely to stick around, and probably give everyone hope Miller/TW actually are paying attention to AE despite having real lives and jobs to attend to.

Maybe i just have this perspective because v3 registration is closed, and TW/Miller are practically never anywhere seen or heard anymore.
