Hubs and bases in smaller cities

Hi everyone!

I´ve tried to find out anything about this in the forum but I couldn´t. My question is if is it profitable to build up a strong network in one of the small airports in the game.

In the first steps the answer is obvious, as the prices and lf´s are really poor, but I was wondering what can happen if you keep on basing a/c in there... Anyone have ever tried?

if you are at a large pax city place then you can build up a percentage of the market if you have enough gates to make it happen

if the game of the city you choose is low in pax numbers you will find it hard to make the return other more stronger pax city's have

who knows the pax numbers of city's i am not sure some of the players may?

Really does depend on how big and the amount of cash your willing to pump in. Few round ago I had a whole fleet of A319's and 753's that I took out from my DEN hub and so I based them at CMH, built it up with them and Q400's got up to 75 gates of full use, and probably 20mil DOP, but it took lots of A/C and incremental upgrades to see my work.
