just a quick question regarding hubs

Hello I have just opened another hub, You may think that I am a little thick but what does the hubs do cos I have a main hub but just opened another one.

Check you finance page as its a bit buggy. Also this is not the place for a question like this.

im sorry for posting this in the wrong place, I have noticed that it took the money off me for the cost to make a new hub, what i want to know is what does the hub do I already got my main hub but i just made another hub.

Well, if you build up the hub and get a lot of flights out of it, you start getting thru passengers which means you can raise the price on the route and still get the same load factor. If you have ever wondered why someone charges $800 on a route when someone else is only charging $600 with the same aircraft, odds are the person charging the higher price has a major hub at one of the two cities, so they probably have the same load factor therefore, making more money on the route. You can only notice the difference once you have a fairly large operation at the city. Hope this helped!

Is this also why some people can get 5 figure fares on certain routes, while others only 4 figures? I have seen routes with $40,000 fares and $2,000 fares.

Yes, it is absolutely possible to have $20,000 to $85,000 fares in the beta version. It's been mentioned a few times now.

Then how are they making money? I try those fares and get nothing.

90k a ticket is obtainable if you have a strong hub spoke location
