just some feedback about v2, not sure if a bug is happening here but i am able to get $6000 ticket prices on LHR-EWR but with no O+D load factor its purely connecting passengers load factor. it seems the other players on the route can only get about $2000. my presence at LHR is hubbed and terminal has been built with a spoke effect going on there if that helps, or how have i managed this? i even put 10 frequencies on the route to check if it changed and again only connecting load factor

how does the connecting load factor work ?

also it says it costs 250,000 to fly LHR-MIA that surely cant be anywhere close to real life otherwise major carriers would have shut down by now

Why don't you check the official post for the beta in the Sim Announcements forum? The link is http://forums.airlin...read.php?t=6412

If nobody has posted it before, please do so there, but I think we already know about it.

Cheers,

MIA is all messed up, not sure if its just v2 or if its v1 as well, i think it may be both, because it wasn't profitable to run any sort of routes into MIA before. in the game, MIA has a PAX base of around 200, while FLL has a base of over 500. one of those numbers is wrong

May be you should look at Irish airlines more often. They are quite cheap in comparison with US ones!

I'm getting similar results to dazwalsh out of boston. It is definitely the hub effect.

Yeah, I have the hub effect going on some routes. I have tried to link each airport to every hub. Then when you start placing aircraft to the city, you get more connecting traffic and have higher ticket prices/profits. I have one route where ticket prices are $24,000 and profits are triple the rest of the aircraft on that route ($9M). Are the passengers choosing the connection over the direct flights?
