I'm sure this has been answered before, but I tried searching and came up empty, so I'm forced to ask a stupid question:
Every AE day change (not month change, meaning every real hour), why is it that we don't get our full DOP value in cash? Say if your DOP is $1 Million, you actually get less than that- but isn't the DOP your net profit? :confused:

Not sure, but in anticipation of a better answer: I think it is payroll that is not reflected in DOP.

Let me see if i can explain this right (if sure someone will correct me if im wrong)
The Daily Operating profit at the day change takes away ur fuel costs every day, so that expense gets paid along the way, until ur gate and hub costs.
Hopefully that explains it
