$3 Billion Loan Uptake Slow

PTE announced today that applications for the $3 billion interest free line of credit has been very slow. Only $150 million has so far been approved of which $85 million as been disbursed to two companies, Israir and Continental Airlines Inc. Northwest Airlines is to draw down as soon as the transfer can be effected.

The chairman also announced that a finder's fee of $5 million will be paid to all persons who introduces a successful applicant. This fee will be at the applicant's expense. For example if the applicant is granted a loan of $50 million, he will receive $45 million with $5 million going to the finder. The applicant will be required to repay the full $ 50 million.

The chairman went on to say that a lot of the persons in need of a loan are not regular visitors to forum and therefore are unaware of this facility. This may help in increasing participantion in forum discussion in the future when these person become aware of the usefulness of visiting this site.

The Loan Committee has looked into your accounts and regertable has turn down your application. They were of the view that the hubbing of 4 gates at Manchester was an expensive proposition. Also the 6% utilisation of the 7 gates at Paris would not be appreciable improved even if you were to receive all the a/c you have on order at the moment. It is suggested that you contact a gate broker [see AE classified] and offload these gates for about 12-15 million.
